Who are we?

CURACRETO is a world-class company founded in 1950; we manufacture chemical specialties for the construction industry. Presently, we manufacture and distribute more than 500 products specifically designed and formulated for multiple construction applications such as; commercial roofing systems, elastomeric wall coatings, building envelope waterproofing systems, polyurethane waterproofing systems, sealants, adhesives, concrete admixtures, and our specialty line of epoxy flooring systems and solutions.

CURACRETO is an industry leader with 70 years of experience in chemical specialties for the construction industry. Our US corporate office is located in Houston, Texas, we also have sales and distribution operations in Florida and Southeast US. We are proud of our ISO Certified manufacturing plants and eighteen distribution branches throughout North and Latin America, The Caribbean and Canada.

Our client base consists of tier one and tier two commercial roofing contractors, general contractors, distributors, roofing consultants, and systems designers/specifiers. We are prepared to offer a variety of solutions and alternatives for roofing systems, building envelope waterproofing, and flooring protection systems.

All of our products have been tested and proven to exceed compliance targets according to physical property requirements by ASTM Regulations and UL Classifications. In addition, we have been awarded with certifications by the Cool Roof Rating Council, Miami-Dade’s Notice of Acceptance, Florida Product Approvals, and because of our full commitment with a sustainable environment; we are members of the US Green Building Council.

From our beginning in 1950, we have built our business on strong technical innovation and sustainable solutions. A great example of our innovative spirit is the Testarosso Aluminum Flake® membrane. This unique modified bitumen cap sheet is unlike any other in the market today. Our premium membrane is comprised of a polyester reinforcement with SBS modified bitumen asphalt. Each roll is embedded with 60 million aluminum flakes which will help to significantly reduce heat transmission generated by the sun’s ultraviolet and infrared rays towards the building’s interior, thus, translating into temperature reductions as well as minimizing energy costs. Testarosso Aluminum Flake® has a Class A in UL, exceeds all ASTM tests requirements is part of several Miami Dade NOA’s, and Florida Product Approvals by the Florida Building Code, and it is rated by the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC).
